Half the weight, same performance

Half the weight, same performance

A standard bag of clay litter weighs 12-14 kg. That's roughly the same as a full grocery bag — just for cat litter. And often on sale so you needed to buy Three bags. 42 kg. Into the car, up the stairs, into the apartment.

Plant fiber weighs roughly half of mined clay at the same volume. That's not a compromise — it's physics. Bentonite clay has a density of about 2.5 g/cm³. Tofu and cassava sit at roughly half that. And because plant-based litter absorbs up to 300% of its own weight, you need less product to do the same job.

In practice, that means a 2.5 kg bag that does the same work as a clay bag five times heavier. You can lift it with one hand. You can store it on a shelf instead of the floor. You can pour precisely instead of tipping a half-open mega-bag into the tray.

  • Plant fiber is inherently lighter than mined clay— bentonite clay has a density of ~2.5 g/cm³. Tofu and cassava litter is roughly half that. Same volume, fraction of the weight.
  • Higher absorption-to-weight ratio— plant-based litter absorbs up to 300% of its own weight. You need less product to do the same job.
  • Compact packaging— 2.5 kg bags fit in a cupboard, on a shelf, or beside the litter box without taking over the room.

The daily life impact

  • No more dreading the supermarket trip for cat litter. No loading 14 kg into your car.
  • Anyone in the household can handle the refill — not just the strongest person.
  • Smaller bags = easier to store, easier to pour, less spillage.
  • Combined with delivery: it removes one of the most annoying chores in a cat owner's life: hauling heavy cat litter home.
